Claim Map and Location Notice

Please see the attached road map for the location and directions to this mining claim.

This is a very nice mining property for gold prospectors who prefer to work in or near easy, shallow water. It is an excellent property for 2-inch, 3-inch and 4-inch suction dredges (the creek might support 5-inch dredges), or portable high-banker-dredge combos. There is great access to the property from the road which follows along the creek, winding its way up the mountain.

There is a beautiful USFS campground which follows both sides of the creek at about the center of this claim, right in the middle of a wonderful, scenic old forest! In addition to the USFS development providing excellent access to this mining claim, it also provides an extraordinary RV or tent-camping opportunity, along with running water, toilets, picnic tables and trash disposal.

This place is incredibly beautiful; much better than the attached images, which unfortunately were taken just after a snow storm.

PROSPECTS: This mining property is located in a historically-rich section of Josephine County.

Besides what serious miners could do with this claim, this is a very nice quiet and somewhat secluded location where a person could just relax, or beginners could get started in a mining environment that is not too difficult.

Here is what Craig Colt has to say about this mining claim.
